Distributed Learning Communities
Kubrio
As the founder and leader of one of the world’s most progressive online, self-directed schools for children aged 8 to 18, spanning 30 countries, I oversaw the design, staffing, and optimization of innovative education products, including coach-led 'pods,' clubs, and boot camps. My role involved managing relationships and delivery across the technology team, parents, educators, and students.
During my tenure, I attracted and onboarded over 600 new students and families, maintaining a churn rate of less than 5%. Additionally, I recruited, led, and supported over 50 educators through new product launches, student and parent liaison activities, technology upgrades, and professional development initiatives.
Navigating extensive technology optimizations, I embedded processes across all stakeholder groups to support ongoing changes, ensuring seamless operations. Building strong relationships with parents, I served as the lead educator and senior liaison, addressing complex student and family needs and maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
I led various marketing efforts, including hosting podcasts, clubhouse discussions, and participating in interviews and video recordings. Additionally, I oversaw large-scale communication, engagement, and change management efforts such as quarterly presentations and monthly info sessions.
In addition, I directed marketing team activities spanning email, social media, and overarching user journey and funnel optimizations. Furthermore, I actively supported fundraising efforts, engaging with investors, developing pitch decks, and researching market needs to drive organizational growth.
